I recently went as part of a convoy to a place called Beni Suef where I witnessed some of the poorest people and worst living conditions I’d ever seen. Even though we went there to feed and clothe people, I think we got more from it than they did. The generosity, humility and dignity that some of them showed will stay with me for a long time.
